Young people who are facing severe mental health struggles require a specialized approach to care that balances clinical intervention with true compassion. Our pediatric and adolescent unit provides a structured, supportive environment where children and teens can focus on healing. Treatment on this unit addresses a range of behavioral health concerns, helping kids develop coping skills and build resilience.
Adult Services
We provide intensive inpatient treatment for individuals who are experiencing crisis situations related to mood disorders, thought disorders and other psychiatric conditions. The goal with our adult inpatient program is stabilization, symptom management and the development of a robust discharge plan that allows for continued healing long after a patient’s stay.
Senior Adult Services
Senior adults face unique mental health challenges that are often complicated by physical health conditions or significant life transitions. Our senior adult unit offers a safe environment specifically designed for older individuals. Our care team is trained to address the complex intersection of aging and mental health, ensuring that our senior patients receive holistic care in a dignified manner.

Conveniently located in Council Bluffs, our hospital will serve residents throughout Pottawattamie County, Omaha’s metropolitan area and surrounding communities in Iowa and Nebraska.
